TIBETAN CUSTOM COLLECTION.
Hand-woven by Tibetan weavers in Nepal this collection can be custom made in pure wool, silk and hemp.
The rugs from our hand woven Tibetan Collection, can be made in any size, colour and design. We have a range of designs, which include influences from the art deco period, tribal, traditional, Tibetan and contemporary patterns and textures. We can also implement any of your design ideas and create a finished concept for you.
In order to make the design process easy we have an in house graphic artist who assists in drawing designs and we can then have a sample woven so you can see the design and colour harmony before the main piece is put into production. By using the finest quality wool, along with a variation of knot densities and a combination of weaving techniques (looping, carving and layering), subtle and intricate textures can be created. Silk can be used in the designs to add more lustre and a sense of luxury. We can also provide custom hand knotted wall to wall carpet which has an effortless, organic nature. Each rug or carpet ordered from this collection supports a children's nursery school which we have established next door to the workshop in Nepal.
